I have been a nudist since 1992. I am currently an active member of Caliente Resort in Pasco County, Florida.I can't even imagine being in relationship with a man who does not embrace the nudist lifestyle like I do.  Of course, it definitely decreases my chances of meeting someone. Many nudist resorts limit the "single" men joining a nudist resort.

I am actually originally from Southern California, and when I joined Glen Eden in Corona, California in 1992, I was 17 pounds heavier than I am now, yet I wasn't self conscious.  At the time I had one scar , but I quickly saw that It just didn't matter.  I liked my body. I lost the weight accidentally when I went to an accupuncturist for something completely different in 2002, and by the way I now have had 8 hernia surgeries (believe it) and a benign hip tumor surgery.. I call them my scars of life : - ).

I am devoting this page to body image for women, because I know how difficult it is for many women to accept their bodies.  A lot of women think they have to be perfect to be seen at a nudist resort.  And yes guys, I know that some of you also are embarrassed by your bodies as well.

I know that I don't have a perfect body, but It doesn't matter. It took me a long time to accept myself the way I am.  I always thought I had to be perfect until I became a nudist.  Growing up I felt like I had to hide my body.  I never wore a bathing suit or went in a swimming pool  until my late twenties, because I felt I wasn't  perfect.

OY VEY!!  JEWISH GUILT!

It was my Jewish mothers upbringing. When you are constantly told you are fat and that you have funny toes, you want to hide your body.  When I am in a nudist environment, I always feel beautiful; and each time I go, I fall in love with myself all over again.  I feel completely free and able to express  the true Goddess essense of who I am. There are all kinds of people and all sizes and shapes in the nudist clubs.  The perfection within myself became obvious.  True naturism is not about sex but rather your  sexuality -how you feel about yourself as a woman - as a goddess.,You are a beautiful woman. Now all you have to do is accept that belief.

My book, Sexy Love Affirmations, helps you to do just that with powerful affirmations for bringing out the "real you". Although my book does not have anything to do with the nudist lifestyle, there is a section in my book on body image for women that I feel is a very important part of my book. Imagine not having to put on airs-just being yourself.  Allowing others to see the true essense of who you are. Wonderful feeling!. Without clothes, there is nothing to hide. That may sound scarey to some women (as well as men); however, i have come to the conclusion that you either have a passion for this lifestyle or you don't. There is no inbetween.


Before becoming a nudist, I was a clothesaholic. There should have been a 12 step program, because I was always running to the stores "covering up" my insecurity issues. Now I feel like a whole woman inside and out. Those insecurities came from a Jewish mother who constantly focused on the negative, rather then the positive. I was taught to hide myself until I went to my first nude beach experience at the age of 26 to a nude beach.  I have funny looking toes, and I wasn't allowed to leave the house growing up without shoes. Now,when I walk through the gates of a nudist resort.  And I have a smile on my face, because I know

I AM PERFECT AS I AM.


On this page are affirmation to help you to open up and be more comfortable within yourself and your body. An affirmation is a positive statement that you keep repeating out loud over and over again to create a certain situation.  In order for it to be the most effective, please repeat these affirmations out loud at least 1/2 to 1 hour a day everyday in the shower, while driving, while getting dressed, etc.  So you can't say you don't have time.  Testimonials to any of the affirmations are appreciated.
